The shipping process can be done by individuals (sending a package to a friend or family member) and businesses (selling internationally).
The initial steps are similar for both categories, so we invite you to follow the general instructions below. After that, we'll guide you to the specific section for you (individual or business).
1. After getting a quote
If you’re still on the quoting page, click on "Continue" to go on with the process. If you haven't done so yet, learn how to get a quotation.
If the quoting screen is closed, go to the main menu in the top left corner of your screen and select "Accompany > Quotations & Shipments".
Select the tab labeled “Quotes” and choose the quote you wish to convert into a shipment. Then, click on "Requote" as indicated below, on the bottom right corner of the screen.
Your quote information will be filled out automatically. Review it and click on "Quotate".
Choose your preferred carrier and click on "Continue".
If you want to save this quote for later, click on "Add Description" and give the quote a name. You can then find it on your quotations page.
2. Add items
Click on the "Add item" button.
- Enter the item name in English (declare one by one if there are several).
- Choose the country of origin and the category that best fits the product. This will generate the HS code (Harmonized System code). Understand what the HS code is.
- The SKU field is optional, but if you have already registered the items, it will be filled out automatically. Learn how to import your recurring items.
- Fill in the unit weight, item value (in the same currency as the quote), quantity, and click on "Add item".
- If there are more types of items, repeat the process. If you want to send more than one box in the same shipment, click on "Add Box".
- When finished, click on "Continue".
Remember:
You have to enter the weight of each item individually. You can also use an average by dividing the total weight of the box by the total quantity of items (for example: in a 2 kg box with 5 items, each item would weigh an average of 400 g). The same can be done with the price.
If the box has more than one item of the same category, simply adjust the quantity.
3. Payment setup
- Choose who will pay the taxes (Sender or Receiver). To make an informed decision, learn more about DDU and DDP.
- Decide if you want to include insurance (covers damages, losses, and delivery issues).
- Learn more about Channels and Campaigns, and how they can benefit your business.
- Click on "Continue".
There are only 3 steps left to complete your shipment
