After activating the integration with ShipSmart, you must set up delivery types and methods.
These configurations enable you to offer international shipping options to your customers.
Delivery Type Configuration
1. Access the VNDA Admin Panel
Go to your store’s admin and, in the sidebar, click the gear icon in the bottom left to access Settings.
2. Scroll to the "Shipping (Entrega)" Section
In the Shipping section, click on “Shipping Rules (Regras de Entrega)” to manage your store's delivery options.
3. Create Delivery Groups
- Click on “Delivery Groups (Grupos de Entrega)” in the top menu.
- Click on “Add New Rule (Adicionar nova regra)”.
- Name the delivery group as International (or another name suitable for your operation).
- Enable the delivery group by marking the flag in the top right corner.
- Click “Save (Salvar)” to save the new group.
Delivery Method Configuration
Now that the international delivery group has been created, you can configure the associated delivery methods:
1. Access Shipping Rules
Return to the Shipping Rules menu and click on the "+ (Add New Rule)" button in the top right corner.
2. Enter the Information
Fill in the required fields with the shipping carrier information you want to set up for international delivery. The following is a standard example:
- Name: DHL (or FedEx, UPS, etc.).
- Description: DHL (or FedEx, UPS, etc.).
- Warning Message: Can be left blank.
- Origin: Select ShipSmart.
- Delivery Type: Select International.
- Location: Leave blank.
- Complete any additional fields as necessary, depending on your store’s specifics.
3. Save the Information
Click Save to register the delivery settings.
Important:
For freight quotes to work correctly with ShipSmart, a spreadsheet enabling the listing of countries for international quotations must be uploaded.
Email ajuda@vnda.com.br to request the upload of the spreadsheet.
This spreadsheet is already available in VNDA’s internal documents and will be sent to technical support.
NCM or HS Code Configuration for Products
To ensure freight quotes are displayed correctly, it’s essential to register the NCM/HS Code for products in the Barcode field within each item’s variations in VNDA.
- Access the VNDA admin panel and navigate to the product management section.
- Select the desired product and access the variation data.
- In the Barcode field, enter the NCM/HS Code corresponding to the product, as shown in the image below:
Note: Be sure to complete this field for all products with international shipping. The absence of an NCM/HS Code may prevent quotes from being calculated correctly.
Additional Information on Quotes
Quotes and Taxes
The values returned in ShipSmart quotes include the shipping carrier fee, taxes, and insurance. This means that all taxes are paid at the origin (Brazil), and the shipment is sent to the customer without additional costs at the destination.
Currently, the integration does not allow switching between DDU and DDP. The shipping model is fixed as DDP to ensure all charges are included in the total purchase amount.
Orders Created After Invoicing
In the VNDA integration, orders are created after the invoice process. This ensures that all tax details are correct before shipping.
Tracking Status
Currently, shipment tracking status is not automatically updated in VNDA. To track the status, the user must access the ShipSmart panel directly.
