After setting up the ShipSmart plugin, you will need to adjust the shipping methods and register the HS Code for the products.
These two steps are essential to ensure your customers can calculate the shipping correctly and that products are shipped according to international requirements.
Configuring Shipping Methods
Follow the step-by-step guide below to add and configure ShipSmart’s shipping methods in WooCommerce:

Go to Menu WooCommerce > Settings > General and enter your store's address as indicated:

Address line 1: Your store’s street;

Address line 2: Your store’s number;

City: The city where your store is located;
-
Country / State: The country and state of your store;

Postcode / ZIP: Your store's postal code.
Remember to save changes by clicking the button at the bottom of the page.

Click on the tab “Shipping > Add shipping zone.”

Name the shipping zone and select the regions for which you wish to quote and/or ship.

Click on “Add shipping method” below.

Select ShipSmart from the list and click the blue “Add shipping method” button as indicated below in the lower right corner:

After adding ShipSmart, click on “Edit.”

Select a shipping method option.
Important: You can add more than one method to offer different shipping options to your customers.

Save changes to ensure the shipping method is activated.
Registering the HS Code for Products

Follow the instructions below to ensure all products in your store are correctly registered:

Go to Menu WooCommerce > Products - where you will find the list of registered products. Click “Edit” on the product to which you want to add the HS Code.

In the Inventory tab, locate the field for the HS Code.

Enter the HS Code corresponding to the product (usually, the first 6 digits of the NCM - Mercosur Common Nomenclature Code).

Save changes to ensure the HS Code is correctly registered for the product.
