Once you access the presets page, you can set up Quotation and Shipping.
Through the Quotation and Shipping setup, you can set certain shipping information as default, facilitating management and improving the efficiency of your operations.
Channel and Campaign
You can indicate the sales channel or promotional campaign to which the shipment belongs. This is particularly useful for accurately tracking the performance of different marketing channels and specific promotions, allowing you to make informed decisions about your business strategies.
Address
Select which address stored in your account should appear by default. This setting is crucial for saving time and avoiding errors when generating shipping labels, especially if you ship from multiple locations or warehouses.
Tax Responsibility
Choose between receiver (DDU) or sender (DDP) for tax responsibility. To make an informed decision, learn more about DDU and DDP.
Quote and Payment Currencies
It is recommended to keep the same option for the quotation and payment currencies. This helps avoid confusion and simplifies the billing process, ensuring that both you and your customers have a clear understanding of the costs involved.
In addition to the basic settings, you can enable options for insurance coverage to protect your shipments against loss or damage; specify if the delivery will be to a residential address; and indicate whether packages can or cannot be stacked.
Save Preferences
Remember to click on "Save" at the bottom of the page to keep the settings you have updated. Note that for each new shipment you make, you will have the flexibility to modify the default preferences according to your wish.
